What is a KRA?

A key result area is a strategic factor where strong positive results must be realized for the organization to achieve its strategic goal(s), and therefore, move toward realizing the organization's longer term vision of success. 

 KRAs can be used as a tool to measure performance.

📌Applying Content Knowledge Within and Across the Curriculum 

Learning becomes wholesome, meaningful, and complete if it is applied in other learning areas. Knowledge, therefore, is not limited but becomes more useful and practical when integrated in other fields of learning.

📌Use of Learning Strategies to Enhance Learner Achievement

Using varied learner-centered strategies in teaching generate interest among pupils. Interest is attention thus learning is made easier. Careful planning on the part of mentors will lead to better performance output among pupils.

📌Applying Teaching Strategies to Develop Higher Order Thinking Skills

A challenge can come in the form of a question. A correct answer is a sign of understanding. It is usually what is done in class to check comprehension, with different levels of questioning.

Maximizing classroom space for learners' varied activities enhances learning. Creative structure /arrangement of the room for individual or group activities helps set aside monotony and learners see something new in class.

But one needs to practice moderation because we might overdo it, and forget the traditional ways which are also effective because children are human after all.

Assessment is an essential part of learning. How does one know if a child learns the lesson or not? How much did he/she learn? Which part of his/her learning needs intervention or remediation? All these can be answered through assessment. Assessment takes many forms, i.e. performance tasks.

Parents foremost, as well as other stakeholders are interested to know pupil progress. It is therefore a responsibility of teachers to report correct, accurate data of learner performance. These data can be used to plan for interventions and other measures for improvement.

Flow of the lesson from start to end is very important. It is like a smooth journey towards a destination,
no bumps along the way. So does teaching a lesson. The destination is reached, and that is learning.
